Have to have a border. Honestly better education about our immigration system would help the masses understand underlying issues. Maybe integrate immigration processes & history into high school history classes.

Illegal immigration should be illegal but legal immigration should be very easy

Firm borders, BUT make it easy for good people to get legal immigration.

This is a tough one because it there are differing positions to take; all of which focus on individual liberty. On one hand you want there to be open borders because those who wish to move about the Country or the world freely should be able to do so. On the other hand, I would like to be able to own my own small piece of property and be able to enjoy it without others trespassing on my property. There is also the safety and security aspect of preventing a dangerous tyrant from invading our land.

At the end of the day, there needs to be a healthy balance between borders open enough to allow people to travel as they wish, but still closed enough to provide safety to those who wish to live here. Not an easy balance, however it would be easier had we leadership who didn't see every crisis as an opportunity to invade.

Open borders are one of the biggest problems We're facing. My belief has always been that if You came here illegally, You should get absolutely nothing for free, because every dime worth of handouts that encouraged their illegal immigration is a dime stolen from taxpayers.
