Kyle Rittenhouse…Russian collusion… Jussie Smollett… the Covington kids… weapons of mass destruction… the Gulf of Tonkin incident… ICU beds overflowing because of Ivermectin overdose… horse dewormer… Syria gassing its own people… Benghazi and a YouTube video…”mostly peaceful protests.”
These stories have a few things in common. For now, let’s concentrate on one striking similarity….The corporate press got them wrong.
This leads to a question that needs to be pondered. Did they just make a mistake or did they fabricate the stories to advance an agenda of some kind?
The first thing people should do when judging a person or entity as trustworthy (or not) is to examine the history of the reputation in question. No wonder there is mass skepticism against the nauseating vaccine push and the “official science” behind mitigation efforts. The above examples are stories that were proven incorrect (some maliciously) and some have had grave consequences, so why trust them with COVID advice? Just from these highlighted stories, the track record of the agencies reporting has to be questioned.
In an effort to determine trustworthiness we must also ask if these media outlets ever intentionally omit or ignore other important events or details?
Let’s start with the most obvious… Jeffery Epstein.
The Epstein story was known for up to three years in at least one major news network.
Then, ABC News Anchor, Amy Robach, was unknowingly recorded as she expressed her frustration to a colleague over ABC's failure to broadcast her interview with a key accuser of Epstein.
This video and the eventual earth shaking bombshell was kept hidden until an independent agency, Project Veritas, leaked video of Robach’s conversation.
It’s now well known that Epstein maintained long-term relationships with various high-profile individuals, including Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, and Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. Did these connections determine why the story was squashed for so long?
Epstein’s case, death, and the accusations against him were major news stories, but the most glaring issue for people who already question mainstream media’s intentions is that ABC squashed the story and independent journalists brought it to light.
This, and many other examples of mainstream media ignoring major news stories (Hunter Biden’s laptops, Ashley Biden’s diary, and natural immunity to name a few) has led to a mass exodus of major news network viewers.
A welcome white pill here is more people than ever aren’t buying into the “official” narratives anymore. They are tired of what seems like endless “Operation Mockingbird” style tactics even if they don’t know anything about the once classified program.
Just this week, quite a few people who identified themselves as “from the left” or “progressive” took to Twitter to share how much misinformation about Kyle Rittenhouse they had believed before watching the trial. Some didn’t even know the people he shot that night weren’t black. Others were baffled at the obvious evidence of self defense.
Let’s circle back to “Operation Mockingbird.” The program was an alleged fully implemented CIA operation designed to spread disinformation throughout American media. CIA Director William Colby even testified to the Church Committee about the program that was published in 1976.
Over 400 CIA agents were active in US media to control what was reported through American television, newspapers, and magazines, according to Carl Bernstein in a 1977 Rolling Stones Magazine. Luckily, they don’t do this stuff anymore. (Wink)
In contrast, a non-political influencer can have a platform where they occasionally talk about politics and it can attract a huge viewership. Even a simple political discussion between politically homeless people, can go viral. Why? Because most Americans are unaware they are starved for content that isn’t sterile and scripted.
Joe Rogan’s podcast, as an example, challenges some mainstream narratives and has reaped a massive audience that makes the major networks extremely jealous. Rogan crushes mainstream media in views regularly because he’s simply asking uncomfortable questions and having conversations that everyone in his audience has had with their own friends and neighbors. His audience is aware he doesn’t have all the answers, but they find him trustworthy because he’s curious.
How do mainstream journalists deal with Rogan’s success? Exactly as suspected.
For weeks they repeated the narrative that Rogan took a horse deworming medication to treat COVID. It’s a ridiculous claim, yet it was repeated multiple times a day for a week. Just Google the Rogan horse dewormer supercuts going around and then watch his recent interview with Sanjay Gupta.
Which brings up another point. Can you even trust Google? A quick comparison of results from searches on Duck Duck Go, for instance, can provide drastically different results that don’t necessarily favor the establishment. If it happens there, it’s safe to assume Big Media has a problem with it too.
Freedom of speech and press are very important in a free society. However, this week, independent journalists at Project Veritas had their homes ransacked by the FBI and the New York Times was given confidential information about the case from an apparent leak from within the FBI. Was this to break the story and to presumably steer the narrative?
The raid’s objective was to find a diary of Ashley Biden which is rumored to have devastating allegations against President Joe Biden.
So how separated is the corporate media from the Federal Government? Apparently, they are not at all separate. There is a palpable feeling that the current climate is beyond the wildest dreams of the creators of Operation Mockingbird.
So… can the media recover?
No. At least not in this form. Until there is mass decentralization of the Federal Government and its tentacles that invade newsrooms, it’s not advisable for anyone to trust major media outlets.
The battle is won when the average American regard corporate journalists exactly as they regard a tobacco executive. ~Michael Malice
The silver lining here is there are a ton of excellent independent journalists who are doing the work we need. An even better sign of hope is more people than ever are using these independent journalists for their daily news updates.
Corporate echo chambers are emptying and truth seeking is fashionable….because freedom matters.
